In January, Michael Court (Project Lead) and Mariana Dias (Assistant Project Manager) from the NHS Benchmarking Network (NHSBN) Peer Support Workers (PSW) team, interviewed Chapter CEO Jolene Weaver to understand the role of peer support workers in the VCSE sector.

We are pleased to share a case study from an organisation that provides comprehensive support services for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, alongside an Educational Psychology Service (EPS) focused on emotional well-being in schools.

In November, the Workforce Programme Team came together for a dedicated Development Day. The focus was on education, research, exploration and team-building activities aimed at strengthening our ethos of collaboration and excellence.

Recently, NHSBN participated in the second day of a two-day conference on Children and Young People’s Intensive Mental Health Services. The event, by NHS England's Specialised Commissioning, has an emphasis on workforce development.

On 22nd October, representatives from the NHSBN Workforce Programme travelled to London to meet with NHS England. Together, they spent the day planning for the 2025/26 Workforce Programme.
